GirlSMART is committed to improving the literacy of struggling readers by providing these readers with a high-quality after school literacy program that includes read alouds, Words Their Way word study, and Reader’s Theater. Group leaders/teachers develop their knowledge and skills by attending an annual summer institute and participating in Webinars throughout the year.
